Authorship Criteria
All authors must have made substantial contributions to the conception or design of the work, or to the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data, or to drafting or critically revising the manuscript. Each author must approve the final version of the manuscript and agree to be accountable for the accuracy and integrity of the work.
Manuscript Submission
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submissions may be written in English (UK), Arabic, Hausa, or French. All manuscripts should be submitted via email to yajamss.naub@gmail.com. The corresponding author is responsible for managing the submission process and ensuring that all co-authors have reviewed and approved the manuscript prior to submission.
Formatting Requirements
Manuscripts must be prepared in Microsoft Word using Times New Roman font, size 12, with double line spacing. The manuscript should not exceed 7,000 words or 15 pages, including references. The cover page must include the manuscript title, author names, institutional affiliations, email addresses, and contact numbers.
File Preparation
The manuscript should be submitted as a single Word document with all figures, tables, and images embedded within the main text. The total file size must not exceed 120 MB. Supplementary materials may be submitted separately in standard, accessible formats.
Referencing Style
Authors must use either APA or MLA referencing style consistently throughout the manuscript. All references should include complete bibliographic details, including author names, year of publication, title, source, volume, issue, and page numbers where applicable. Inclusion of DOI is encouraged.
Manuscript Structure
The title should be concise, specific, and reflective of the study. The abstract should not exceed 250 words and must clearly summarize the purpose, methodology, key findings, and conclusions of the study in a single paragraph. Six keywords should be provided immediately after the abstract, using terms relevant to the discipline. The introduction should establish the context of the study, review relevant literature, and clearly state the research aim and contribution. The materials and methods section should provide sufficient detail to allow replication, including description of tools and software used. The results section should present findings clearly and logically. The discussion should interpret the findings in relation to existing literature, outline implications, acknowledge limitations, and suggest future research directions. The conclusion should summarize the key contributions of the study.
Additional Sections
Authors should describe any supplementary materials submitted alongside the manuscript. All sources of funding must be disclosed clearly, including grant numbers where applicable. For studies involving human participants, authors must provide an ethics statement that includes the name of the approving body, approval code, and date of approval.
Peer Review Process
All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process involving at least two independent reviewers. Editorial decisions may include acceptance with minor revisions, major revisions, rejection with encouragement to resubmit, or outright rejection. Authors are required to respond to reviewer comments in a clear and systematic manner.
Publication Ethics
The journal adheres to internationally recognized standards of publication ethics. Authors must ensure originality, proper citation, and full disclosure of any conflicts of interest. Any form of academic misconduct will be addressed in accordance with established ethical guidelines.
Production and Publication
Yamtara-Wala Journal of Arts, Management and Social Sciences is an annual peer-reviewed journal. Accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting, language editing, proofreading, and final formatting prior to publication on the journal website.
