Abstract
In Nigeria, the rapid growth of the tech industry, driven by digital transformation, brings both promising prospects and daunting challenges for talent acquisition and development. This paper examines the impact of digitalization on Nigeria's talent landscape and advocates strategic realignment of talent practices to use new opportunities while mitigating longstanding obstacles. It evaluates talent management practices including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, succession planning and employee engagement, as well as digital transformation initiatives such as AI-powered recruitment tools, data analytics and online learning platforms. The paper emphasizes strategic investment in technology and infrastructure to harness the potential of digitalization.
