Abstract

This study explores the dynamics of inter-religious relations in Yorubaland, South-Western Nigeria, by examining the interaction between different religious groups and highlighting areas of tension and opportunity from an Islamic perspective. Through qualitative analysis of existing literature, the study investigates the role that good relations among adherents of different religions could play in promoting peaceful coexistence. Findings highlight the importance of interfaith collaboration and mitigation of extremist narratives, offering insights for scholars and religious leaders on mutual respect, tolerance, trust, and conflict resolution.
