Abstract

This study examines how international partnerships influence the operational effectiveness and strategic frameworks of the ECOWAS Standby Force. It highlights the relationship between regional security objectives and global geopolitical interests and considers implications for peacekeeping and conflict resolution in West Africa. Using qualitative research design, secondary data, content analysis, and network theory, the study finds that international partners contribute to capacity building, training, financial and logistical support, strategic framework alignment, and operational effectiveness, while also identifying gaps between strategic concepts and implementation.
