Abstract

The study investigated the interventions of Development Exchange Centre on poverty reduction among rural women in Gombe State. Four objectives and four research questions guided the study. Survey design was adopted with a population of 6,458 rural women and 37 officials. Three hundred and three rural women and ten officials were selected. Two instruments were used to collect data: Questionnaire on Interventions of Development Exchange Centre and interview for officials. Data were analysed using frequency, percentage and mean. Findings revealed that interventions comprised micro loans and agricultural loans, while awareness campaigns and fliers were used in delivery.
